It just don’t make sense but word around town is Mary J. Blige’s manager Kendu straight up rejected BETs plans to have Keyshia Cole sing along with Anita Baker in a tribute to Mary J. Blige for the 2009 BET Honors Event.Â
Anita Baker still did her tribute but Kendu was not havin none of that Keyshia Cole business. Stating Keyshia and Mary already have too many comparisons between them and they don’t need any of that for this event. So, Monica was asked to take Keyshia’s place instead…the wackness. Love Monica but that would have been a great performance.

1. Take a 10-30 minute walk every day. And while you walk, smile. It is the ultimate anti-depressant.
2. Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day. Buy a lock if you have to.
4. When you wake up in the morning, complete the following statement, ‘My purpose is to … today.’

U.S. pop star Janet Jackson has canceled five concerts scheduled to take place next month in Japan, her Japanese concert promoter announced.
The BBC noted Jackson has performed only 16 dates on the Rock Witchu tour she started last year. The tour marked her first in about seven years.
While some 2008 concerts were scrapped due to Jackson falling ill, her cancellations in Japan are being blamed on the global economy, the BBC said.
Promoters Kyodo Yokohama said Jackson’s Japanese dates are to be rescheduled for later this year and announced in March.

McDonald’s reports that their net profit for 2008 soared 80 percent from a year ago. They say the financial boom is partially due to consumers seeking low-cost meals in a deepening global recession.
Their net profit for the year totaled 4.3 billion dollars, compared to 2.3 billion in 2007. Of these increases in customers and sales, the United States contributed to 4.0 percent, Europe 8.5 percent and Asia/Pacific, Middle East and Africa 9.0 percent.
Funny about the whole people seeking low-cost meals at Mc Donald’s. I think they are over priced for the crap they are selling…leaving you hungry within minutes of eating.

Charlie’s Angels producer Nancy Juvonen has hinted that Rihanna may star as a new Angel in the third movie in the series.
Juvonen, who oversaw the first two films with producing partner Drew Barrymore, told Sci Fi Wire that she has already considered adding the popstar to the franchise’s crimefighting team.
“I’m having a Rihanna fixation myself,” she said. “What are you going to do?”
Juvonen added of the potential sequel: “We’d have to do it with (director) McG. I don’t think we could do it without McG and I think that the Angels all at least need to be there. Right?”
Barrymore, who starred in the action franchise opposite Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu, earlier told E! Online that she is “so into” the idea of a Charlie’s Angels 3.
“It’s percolating up,” said Juvonen. “It’s rising to the surface.”
I think she would fit right in. Go get that Hollywood paper girl!
