Ghostface ft. Raheem DeVaughn – Baby

Monday, July 27th, 2009

Ghostface

One of our favorite rappers is back with a new single. Ghostface always gets the hottest R&B singers and teams up to make a hit.

Who would have ever thought all these years after Wu-Tang had a strangle hold on the music industry that Ghostface would end up being the ranking member of the clan.

We might be biased (because we love Ghost around these parts), but all of his albums have been classics period!

Friday, July 24th, 2009

K&NThe judge has finally ruled and Kelis is going home with a new baby boy and $55,000/month. The judge in her child support case with her soon to be ex-husband Nas awarded Kelis way more than the $5k Nas said he wanted to give. Plus the judge ordered Nas to pay for the baby’s nurse, prenatal expenses and medical insurance. Oh, and $35,000 to Kelis’ lawyer.

Solange Does A Britney

Thursday, July 23rd, 2009

Ya girl Solange Knowles showing off her new look in L.A. yesterday. Ms. Solange wrote on her on her Twitter page that she was going through a “I wanna cut all my hair off” phase.

The 23-year-old even joked in the past she will “go crazy like Britney” if people keep comparing the two.

She said: “I get asked about Beyonce all the time but I try and make fun of it.

“Sometimes I say she’s not my sister. Other times I say I’ve stuffed her in my suitcase and sent it to Dubai.

“I have to have fun with it or I’ll turn into Britney – shave my head and go totally crazy.”

Hmmm….still gotta love her with her crazy self.

British singer Amy Winehouse deliberately punched a woman after a ball last September, a London court heard on Thursday.

Alleged victim Sherene Flash told the City of Westminster Magistrates’ Court that she had politely asked the Grammy-winning star for a photograph.

Prosecuting lawyer Lyall Thompson said Winehouse hit out when a friend of Flash, who was drunk, tried to get into the picture.

“It may be that it was that that annoyed Miss Winehouse,” Lyall told the court, according to the Press Association.

Miss Winehouse may have felt she had generously agreed to be photographed on her own and not with a drunken stranger.” (more…)

Young Money – We Like Her (Video) Feat. Lil Wayne and Drake

Thursday, July 23rd, 2009

It’s about time this video can out. Young Money seems finally ready to take over the building. I don’t know what the delay was but I hope it was worth it for them. The videos from Young Money seem to be a tad bit late and a dollar short. Young Money is poised to take over the game if they can get their act together. P.S. Where is Wayne’s Rock Album.

The Woman Who was Dumped by an NBA Star Days Before Wedding by Email Speaks

Thursday, July 23rd, 2009

Kesha Nichols, the woman who was dumped 5 days before her wedding by deadbeat NBA Baller Richard Jefferson speaks publically for the first time. We say deadbeat because Richard Jefferson sent his bride to be an email instead of confronting her face to face. Kesha tells the story a little differently in the interview, but we don’t know if she is changing the story to make things appear sweeter than they really were.
