This is a clip of Ashanti performing “Home” from The Wiz musical at a press junket in New York. The original
song originally sung by Diana Ross and Stephanie Mills. Ashanti sang it okay, I hope she is better during the play!

The Wiz opens June 12, 2009. Ashanti has been cast in the role of Dorothy for a three week limited engagement. I guess Jasmin Sullivan was unavailable.

    I love Ashanti’s songs, i saw her perform once and it was the most memorable experience in the world, she is very attractive and real.
