In her interview in Ebony Magazine Tameka said “It was silly because my baby had only (been born) nine weeks or so (before), and I should’ve just waited. It was too soon after giving birth to be concerned about what I looked like physically. The foolish part for me was the fact that I wanted to take the shortcut. This is something I teach my children: Do not take the shortcut. It bothered me that I fell prey to it.”
